Watching ‘The Ruler’ felt like a warm hug wrapped in superhero flair. Even with the silliness of Marinette battling a cold, the episode hits hard with its message of self-expression and mutual acceptance. The animation pops, the trio of heroes is fun to watch, and the reveal between Nathaniel and Marc stuck with me. I wish the fight had more time to breathe and that Marinette had a bigger role—but overall, it’s one of the more emotionally satisfying episodes of Season 6 so far.”
